After the visit of Salerno you continue for about 60 km to discover the fascinating archaeological site of Paestum, where you will visit the excavations characterized by the three remarkably well conserved Greek temples, known as the Basilica, the Temples of Poseidon and Athena.

You can also visit the archaeological museum which contains a lot of vases, kraters, figures, statues and decorations of the temple that depict mythological scenes and the famous Tomb of the Diver found in a Necropolis outside the city.

Paestum is also famous for the culinary tradition of the Buffalo Mozzarella appreciated all over the world. For this reason, your Paestum tour, will end with a visit of a typical cheese factory where you can buy the mozzarella and see how this product is made.
