Visit Salerno, best remembered for the lied troops landing on its beaches, during World War II and Paestum, one of the most important archaeological sites in the country with preserved Greek ruins, architecture and monuments.
Once in Salerno you have the chance to enjoy a pleasant walk along its beautiful seafront as well as the alleys of the old town to take in the relaxing atmosphere and some shopping.
After the visit of Salerno you continue for about 60 km to discover the fascinating archaeological site of Paestum, where you will visit the excavations characterized by the three remarkably well conserved Greek temples, known as the Basilica, the Temples of Poseidon and Athena.
You can also visit the archaeological museum which contains a lot of vases, kraters, figures, statues and decorations of the temple that depict mythological scenes and the famous Tomb of the Diver found in a Necropolis outside the city.
